Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer spoke at the final meeting of “Help for Nonprofits: Pre-Consulting Day Workshop for the New York City Nonprofit Community” held earlier today at Baruch college.

This co-sponsored event between the Manhattan Borough President’s Office MBPO) and Baruch College’s Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management (CNSM) had over 75 attendees from New York City nonprofit organizations, and served as a pre-cursor to Baruch’s Consulting Day Event; an annual event held by CNSM that provides pro-bono consulting services to nonprofits.

The Borough President began by expressing his deepest gratitude to the not-for-profit organizations in attendance for providing numerous services to New York City constituents. He continued by suggesting to the represented organizations to participate in Baruch’s Consulting Day Event on March 17th, where they would be able to attain valuable personal information that they could use to further their organizations and causes.
