To celebrate Women's History Month in March of 2008, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer's Office developed a map of important women's rights historic sites on the borough. The map includes 120 Manhattan locations where extraordinary women--who have helped shape New York City and the nation--have lived, worked or where they have been honored (with statues, plaques, monuments and street signs).
The map was created by then Deputy Chief of Staff, Pam Elam. Ken Nemchin provided the Map's layout design.
