Today at 6:00 PM, Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer will deliver his 2010 State of the Borough Address in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The Borough President’s speech will highlight key accomplishments of the past year and focus on the initiatives that will frame the future of his office.
The Borough President will be introduced by William J. Bratton, Chief Executive Officer of Altegrity Security Consulting and Former Chief Executive of the Los Angeles Police Department and New York Police Department. The evening also includes a performance by Vy Higginsen’s Gospel for Teens Choir and welcoming remarks by Lillian Rodríguez López, President of the Hispanic Federation.

Stringer, joined by NYC Parks & Recreation Manhattan Borough Commissioner Bill Castro and noted Rosarian Stephen Scanniello, president of the Heritage Rose Foundation, broke ground on the nation’s first official “Heritage Rose District” in West Harlem and Southern Washington Heights.
